Set in a beautiful country setting surrounded by Central Illinois farmland, our rustic barn provides a memorable backdrop for any occasion. With ample outdoor space for tents, stages, entertainment, equipment, and even small trade fairs, the property offers the flexibility to transform your vision into an event that feels uniquely yours. At the 1912 Barn, we don't just provide a place to gather—we provide a place to celebrate, connect, and create memories that last a lifetime.
Get to Know Us
The centerpiece is a 100+ year-old authentic barn built from Douglas Fir post-and-beam construction. It features exposed wood rafters and a vintage tin roof with string lighting. The indoor barn space comfortably fits up to 80 guests for a sit-down meal.
For larger celebrations, the venue can accommodate up to 175-200 guests by utilizing high-peak outdoor tents on the manicured lawns adjacent to the barn. guests frequently set up an outdoor ceremony or celebration in the lawn adjacent to fields and host a starlit dance floor later in the evening.
The venue operates under a highly accommodating open-vendor policy. You are entirely free to choose your own outside caterers and bring you ow alcohol, which provides massive flexibility for planning a customized menu.
